- A fatal error is prevented when connecting to a non-qsock TCP port.

- 4K byte transfers are now supported.

- The application no longer suspends on startup if scroll lock is on.
- A display problem with reveal delimiters has been corrected.

- Terminal sessions are tabbed, allowing the user to
click a tab to switch sessions. Setup / Tab Detail controls tab appearance.
- A notification window reports message writes.
- The Message List dialog (Window / View System Messages)
shows the last 100 messages written.
- QIC-PC II is compatible with Windows Server 2008.
We have corrected the following issues:
- Courier New is reliably the default font.
- Connection status and error dialog boxes display the
terminal session number.
- The startup movie is now in MPEG format for better
system compatibility.
- Additional enhancements have been made to the graphical
features.
PLEASE NOTE
QIC-PC II's TCP/IP network performance when run on Windows NT4 and 98 (including
SE) is limited due to a problem with the Windows TCP/IP protocol. The
Windows protocol problem was corrected in the more recent versions of
Windows, for example, Windows ME and Windows 2000.

and destruction of pop-up windows.

We have also corrected the following issues:
- Attempting to close the session window when the application is
establishing a connection to the server no longer causes the program to
error.
- Typical memory requirements of a screen have been reduced.
- Clicking the mouse in block selection mode no longer causes a network
hang of that session window.
- The Alt+Insert keystroke now switches the behavior of the Insert key
between Toggle and Insert space.
- The Ctrl+Insert keystroke now correctly behaves as a copy to the
Clipboard.
- The cursor is now consistently active after pasting from the Clipboard.
- QIC-PC II now supports the use of a keyboard's Application key.
- Shift+F10 and Ctrl+F10 are no longer interpreted as F10 (typically a
Transmit).
- Shift+F10 can now be used as a programmable function key.
- The mouse cursor is now set to an hour glass when waiting for a response
from the host.

- The {NEXT} and {TRANSMIT} function key macros now operate reliably under
all conditions.

- An Admin tab has been added to the Terminal Preferences dialog box. See
the online help for field descriptions.
- The online help has been updated to include release 1.50-A enhancements
and other improvements.
We have also corrected the following issues:
- The row and column indicators on the status bar now accurately report the
cursor position.
- The Help button on the Current Session tab of the Terminal Preference
dialog box now displays the associated help topic.
- If the Auto clear numeric fields Display option is selected, numeric
fields are now consistently cleared.
- On the Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP platforms, the screen no longer
flashes on startup.
- The Display Cols option on the Global and Session Terminal Preferences
dialog box has been changed to Default Cols. Changing this setting no longer
changes the screen size. See the online help for a description.
- Double-clicking in blind mode no longer causes QIC-PC II to hang.
- Under certain timing conditions on the Microsoft Windows 9x platform, the
text stored in function keys no longer changes case.

- QICWARE users should also
consider installing QICWARE Runtime update 6.02-A (or 6.01-K), which offers
performance enhancements to QIC-PC II's 'scrolling' operations in programs
like *CATALOG, *EDIT etc.
