In September 1969, QANTEL products were launched in an office on Investment Boulevard in an industrial park in Hayward, near the San Mateo Bridge. Computerworld described Qantel's first product as "a computer practically small enough to slip into a suitcase, powerful enough to handle many business applications, and less expensive than a sports car."

And this was only the beginning of the QANTEL product line.

Through the years and the tremendous changes in the tech industry, we never lost sight of our basic mission: to make a better business system.
